  • Mrs. Donna Parchment Brown to head Justice Reform Unit in Jamaica Posted on 19 June 2013

    We are pleased to announce that our colleague, friend and champion for mediation,  Mrs. Donna Parchment Brown, CD, JP, ACIArb, has received the honour of joining the Jamaica Ministry of Justice as Director of the Justice Reform Implementation Unit.

    Mrs. Parchment Brown is an Attorney-at-Law, Mediator, Trainer and a founding member of the Dispute Resolution Foundation (DRF) where she was CEO since 1994 when the organization began.  The DRF provides advocacy, training and services in Restorative Justice, Mediation, Arbitration, facilitation and related alternative dispute resolution techniques and practices.  She has helped to design policy and support delivery of Mediation training to the police and for all the courts of Jamaica, in several under-served urban communities in Jamaica and throughout the region to member states of the OECS, Guyana, The Bahamas, Belize and Trinidad & Tobago.
